I struggled over which institution to choose, but I went with an unlicensed clinic.
Apparently, in addition to the baby's disease risk, you can also see things like the baby's profile.
I thought that sounded interesting, so I went with seeDNA.

It arrived about 2 days after I ordered it,
and all I had to do was take the kit to the partner hospital, have blood drawn, and send it back!
If the result is positive, they cover half the cost of an amniocentesis.

I think more people probably go through counseling and have their NIPT done at a licensed hospital, so just take this as one reference point.

Once the results arrive, I'll report back on things like how long it took
and the profile info.
