A DNA test requires one of the following samples:

(buccal epithelial cells)
Test using buccal cells collected by lightly rubbing the inside of the mouth for about 10 seconds while twirling the sterilized genetic testing swab included in the kit.
It is a painless and simple method, so even newborns can safely collect samples.

Even if buccal cells are difficult to collect, testing can be done with the same accuracy as buccal cells using various "objects" like toothbrushes, hair, cigarette butts, or human-derived tissues.
