I agonized over it, but I ended up getting the NIPT test.
Waiting for the results to arrive was nerve-wracking, but seeing the results put my mind at ease, so I'm glad I got tested.
The maternity clinic I go to told me that if the result came back positive, they wouldn't be able to do anything for me there,
so if you're getting tested at a different facility, you really need a solid plan for after the test.
