A Google review posted by a customer who used seeDNA's genetic testing/DNA testing service
This time I used the Speed Testing option for a prenatal DNA test.
Ordered on 1/9 → received the kit on 1/13 → had blood drawn at the hospital on 1/14 and shipped it from the post office the same day → email confirming the test had started on 1/15
→ results reported by email on 1/26
At first, the homepage header stated that Speed Testing takes 3 to 5 days, so that's what I expected — I didn't think testing with items like toothbrushes would take longer.
I'm sure there are many people out there who feel as anxious as I did. I know it was my own fault, but I couldn't feel at ease at all while waiting for the results.
Even with Speed Testing, it took 11 days including the weekend, so if you're in a hurry, I'd recommend choosing Speed Testing.
I think it would be better to clearly note that testing with items like toothbrushes takes longer, even with Speed Testing added!
I ended up calling and emailing several times.
The support was excellent, and the speed of the email replies was reassuring.
In the end, the result was what I had hoped for, and I'm very satisfied.
