Email from a Korean customer who used our Prenatal DNA Testing service
1. Why I chose seeDNA
- It was an institution that could perform a prenatal paternity test that isn't available domestically,
and I was able to confirm its reliability from other people's past reviews.
2. Customer support
- They responded to my inquiries immediately and always dealt with me kindly and courteously.
3. Testing fees
- If you only do the basic test, it isn't too burdensome,
but if you add the extra cost for testing at 6 weeks, the additional cost for something other than a cheek swab, and the speed test on top of that, the total amount goes up somewhat.
I had the 6-week speed test done, but a retest was required, which was a little disappointing,
but I'm still satisfied to be able to get confirmation for this amount of money.
4. Testing speed
- It takes 6 to 8 days from blood collection and sending the sample to notification of the results. Since this excludes weekends, you can actually receive the results in about 10 days.
(For reference, when using FedEx from Busan, the sample is transported overland to Incheon Airport, so it takes an extra day, taking about 3 days in total.)
For the first test, I was notified of the retest on the very first day of the notification date, and for the retest, I received the results on the morning of the first day of the notification date.
They let me know in detail the time the sample arrived in Japan and the result notification date, which was much better than just waiting indefinitely.
5. Results report
- I thought it would simply show a match or non-match, but it was reported in detail, which gave me even more confidence.
Reading the report, I was able to interpret the results without much difficulty.
