Because You Met International Standards
2025.08.22
An email from a customer in Kanagawa Prefecture who used our DNA testing service
Thank you very much for contacting us with the results.
Below are my answers to the questionnaire (please keep this anonymous).
1. Why I chose seeDNA
① Because you met international standards
② Because your website didn't look outdated (I thought this meant you had enough resources to invest in things visible to the public)
2. Customer service
It was good.
I imagine the reason the person in charge kept changing was to keep the process from becoming dependent on any one individual and to keep things moving smoothly.
3. Testing fee
I think how people feel about the price varies from person to person,
but for us it was more like "a slightly pricier birthday present to ourselves this year, but that kind of thing is all about mood and momentum!"
so it wasn't that much of a burden.
(Buying a sewing machine costs more.)
4. Testing speed
It feels long when you're anxious about it, but when you're busy with work it goes by in a flash, so it didn't feel especially slow.
While reading various reviews, I thought it would be helpful if the email explained what remedies are available in case of a defective sample (such as dropping it or accidentally touching it with your finger).
5. Result report
Honestly, since I'm not an expert, I couldn't really tell whether the content of the report was appropriate or not.
That said, I think it's understandable enough that a layperson can look at it and think, "Ah, I see, I totally get it (*not really)."
6. Other comments
There were a few blank spots in places, and I thought it would be nice to have an explanation of why that happens.
I've attached the test results with my questions written on them below.
This may be a silly question, but what exactly does this state mean...?
Could it be a defective sample?
We both rubbed the same spot on our cheeks fairly thoroughly, so I'm a little worried we may not have applied enough pressure.
I'm sorry for the trouble, but I would appreciate a reply.
Thank you very much in advance.

Thank you very much for using our testing service.
We are all delighted if this test was able to help you in any way.
Regarding your inquiry, please find our response below.
[Regarding Question ①]
When the same value appears on both the left and right, the right-hand side is left blank.
For the 5 locations marked with a red frame that you pointed out, the same value as the left column applies (e.g., 30/30, etc.).
Also, for "AMEL" in the bottom row, since it is the same as "XX" for females, it is listed only in the left column.
[Regarding Question ②]
It is normal for values to include a decimal point; this is not unusual in any way.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
We wish ●● every good health and happiness going forward.
