I think it's mentally less stressful to use the service expecting it to take quite a long time.

I sent a blood sample at 9 weeks, and was contacted about a re-test on business day 12. The re-test was a speed test,
but the results report came on business day 7, so in the end it took more than a full month from when I first sent the sample. Since there's a range for the expected result report date,
I contacted them once the expected date arrived to ask if they could tell me the progress, and was told flatly,
"We can't tell you that, which is exactly why we give a range." When I contacted them before the test with questions I wanted to ask, the response was polite, so it may depend on the person.
As others have said, I think it's mentally less stressful to use the service expecting it to take quite a long time.
I would not recommend it to people around me.

Thank you very much for using our testing service and for taking the time to share your feedback.
We apologize that our prior explanation was insufficient regarding the range in the number of days until the report.
Because the condition of samples varies from person to person, we set a range for the expected report date.
We also understand that the need for a re-test may have caused you anxiety and distrust, and for that we sincerely apologize.
This re-test was not due to any deficiency in the testing process, but because the amount of fetal DNA contained in the mother's blood did not meet the standard required for testing, making it impossible to report a result.
Based on our track record to date, more than 95% of customers who have blood drawn at 7 weeks of pregnancy or later receive accurate results on the first attempt,
but because the amount of fetal DNA varies by individual, a re-test may be necessary even after 7 weeks.
For this reason, we offer a free re-test and partial refund guarantee program for customers who have blood drawn at 7 weeks of pregnancy or later.
We take your feedback seriously and will continue to work on providing clearer guidance and improving our testing system,
so that we can offer a service you can use with even greater peace of mind.
