Thank you for your continued support.
Thank you very much for your service this time.

Some time has passed, but I would like to confirm something just to be sure.

This time I requested the test using a cotton swab.
However,
what happens if the mother happened to touch the swab, or if the mother or the other party's hands came into contact with several people at their workplace the day before?
The swab itself was touched by the mother when handing it to the other party,
but I believe the tip itself was probably not touched.
Also, I understand that the other party collected the oral epithelial cells on the swab,
and that only the other party's saliva is on it,
but I wondered whether I should have also been careful from the day before about things like fingerprints on the hands.

That said, since a result was obtained,
may I take it to mean that DNA from only one person was detected?
(Since I understand that if DNA from multiple people were present, a retest would be required.)
I'm contacting you because I became worried that something other than saliva, such as fingerprints on the hands, might have been detected.

I'm sorry to trouble you when you're busy, but I would appreciate it if you could confirm this for me.

Thank you very much for contacting us.
We are delighted if this test was able to be of help to you in any way.

Regarding your inquiry,
as you understood, if DNA from multiple people were mixed together, this would become apparent during the analysis process.
In that case, we would contact you to let you know that a retest is necessary.
Please be assured that only one person's DNA was detected from the swab.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us.
Thank you.
