[Prenatal DNA Test] Thank you very much.

Email from a customer in Fukui Prefecture who used our Prenatal DNA Test
I have confirmed the results report.
Thank you very much.
I have two questions I'd like to ask.
This time the blood sample was taken quite early, at 7 weeks 0 days. Is it correct to understand that sufficient fetal DNA was still detected even at that stage?
Also, regarding the sex determination, since no Y chromosome SNVs were detected at the time of blood collection, is it correct to understand that the possibility of them being detected as the pregnancy progresses further cannot be ruled out?
Thank you for confirming.

Thank you very much for using our testing service.
We are truly glad if this test was able to be of any help to you.
We wish you continued health and happiness going forward.
Regarding your inquiry,
we were able to extract a sufficient amount of fetal DNA for testing from the maternal blood sample you submitted.
As for whether the results would differ as the gestational age increases,
in our prenatal sex determination testing, we confirm in every test not only the presence or absence of SNVs derived from the sex chromosomes, but also whether SNVs derived from the autosomes are being detected without any issues.
Therefore, for this test,
SNVs derived from the autosomes and from the X chromosome (a sex chromosome) were detected without any issues, while only the Y chromosome SNV was specifically not detected.
Based on this, the fetus has been determined to be female.
Thank you very much.
