It appears at first glance to emphasize privacy protection as much as possible, but when I read the company's privacy policy, it states that DNA information may be shared with the police and judicial authorities.
(I don't have anything to hide, but honestly, I was shocked to see it written so matter-of-factly.)
Given the recent news about wrongful convictions, this is a major source of anxiety. Since this involves not just myself but my child as well, even though it's meant for public institutions, I would like the company to clearly explain how the information is handled once it has been shared.
