Thank you for your reply.
You mentioned that when the value is 99.99%,
there are no loci with mismatched numbers.
Does that mean that if even one number does not match,
the probability of paternity becomes 0%?

Generally, when a result indicates that a parent-child relationship is denied,
inconsistencies appear not just at one locus but at multiple loci (three or more).
In this case, the PI (Paternity Index) for the locus with the inconsistency becomes 0.
The CPI (Combined Paternity Index), which is the basis for calculating the Probability of Paternity (POP),
is the product of all the PIs, so if even one PI is 0, the probability of paternity becomes 0%.
However, our company also calculates the probability that an inconsistent locus is the result of a mutation,
and we determine biological relationships based on internal standards that are stricter than international standards.
