In our prenatal gender determination, we check in every test not only
the presence or absence of SNPs derived from the sex chromosomes,
but also whether SNPs derived from the autosomes can be detected without issue.

On that basis, under conditions where SNPs derived from the autosomes and the X sex chromosome
are detected without issue, if only the Y chromosome SNPs are
specifically not detected, the result is determined to be female, and if they are detected, male.

However, as with paternity testing, we cannot guarantee a 100% result,
so we note that accordingly.
