Thank you very much for your help this time.
I would like to answer the questionnaire.

1. Reason for choosing seeDNA
A friend had prenatal testing done with seeDNA and recommended it to me. Also, after looking at the website, I felt I could trust it.

2. Customer service
I asked many questions by phone and email, and I felt reassured by your prompt and courteous responses.

3. Testing fee
I think it is reasonable.

4. Testing speed
In my case, it felt long because it fell over the year-end/New Year period and holidays, but the results arrived within the express testing timeframe.
Since I felt anxious until the results came out, I think it would be even better if I could get a simple update on the progress of the test.

5. Results report
It was easy to understand, and it was good that it also included a note that the results are not 100% accurate.
Also, a photo of the specimen was included in the report, so I could confirm there had been no mix-up with someone else, which was good.

6. Other things I noticed
In the gender determination results, it states that non-specific amplification signals of the Y chromosome cannot be completely ruled out. I would appreciate it if you could explain what this means in an easy-to-understand way.

Thank you in advance.

Thank you very much for using our testing service this time.
If this test was of even a little help to you, all of us here are truly delighted.
We wish you continued good health and happiness.

Now, regarding your inquiry,
in our prenatal gender determination, we check not only for the presence of SNPs derived from the sex chromosomes,
but also whether SNPs derived from the autosomes can be detected without any problem,
in every test.

On that basis, under conditions where SNPs derived from the autosomes and the X chromosome
are detected without any problem, if only the Y chromosome SNPs
are specifically not detected, the result is determined to be female; if they are detected, the result is male.

However, as with paternity testing, we cannot guarantee a 100% result,
so we include a note to that effect.

Thank you very much.
