Out of all the ones I researched, seeDNA's price was the most affordable

1. Reason for choosing seeDNA 5/5

After researching online, I had several candidates, but when I called to consult, I was connected to the call center right away,
and the service was wonderful, so I decided on this one.

2. Customer service 5/5
From before applying to after applying, the phone and email support was prompt and courteous, which put me at ease.

3. Testing fee 5/5
The going rate is high to begin with, but since it's a technical service, I understand.
Out of all the ones I researched, seeDNA's price was the most affordable.

4. Testing speed 4/5
I used the express test, and I got the results in the evening on the 9th business day counting from the day after the sample arrived (in the afternoon).
It's within the 5th to 11th day range, so I think it's reasonable, but having two weekends in between made it feel long.
If the range of days were a bit shorter, I think it would have been easier since I could avoid the hassle of checking every day.

5. Results report 5/5
Since this is our long-awaited first child, we're happy either way with the gender, but I'm glad I was able to report it quickly to my father, who is battling an illness.
I was told it would be difficult for him to make it until the birth, so I'm happy that at the very least I'll be able to have my father decide the name.

6. Any other things you noticed
Nothing in particular.


I had been feeling down day after day because of my father's condition.
Being able to have my father think of a name while he's hospitalized will, I think, give him something more to look forward to.
Even if they can't meet, being able to leave something behind, and finding out the gender early on, was such a great help!
