I have received the report and reviewed it.
I am very satisfied with your service and the content of the results. Thank you very much.

Unfortunately, the fetus miscarried this time,
and we were told that a fetal chromosomal abnormality was likely the main cause. As we move forward with treatment, I had some questions about the report, so I am writing to you.

The report lists combinations of multiple genes expressed in letters of the alphabet. Is it possible to determine a fetal chromosomal abnormality from these results?
I recall that the consent form stated that a parent's genetic abnormality may be discovered unintentionally.
For example, could a result show that a chromosome is missing or that there is one extra?
(Can you tell whether trisomy or Down syndrome applies?)

I understand that this is not a prenatal diagnosis, but I am asking because I thought it might be of some use as material for choosing the direction of future treatment together with the clinic.

In addition, as a user, my hope is that if there were an option to also perform prenatal diagnosis as a simultaneous test, I would definitely like to use it.
Now that insurance coverage for infertility treatment has begun, clinics are overwhelmed. I think concerns about mix-ups of fertilized eggs have increased at least somewhat.
It is by no means something a clinic would recommend, but being able to use fetal DNA testing as a check on the clinic at the same time as the pregnancy was a great emotional support to me personally.
Of course, the results also proved that the child is ours, which led to trust in the clinic and became one factor that let us feel reassured and approach our future treatment positively.

Your advertising mainly explains paternity testing, but for a mother, the anxiety over a life conceived through infertility treatment is immeasurable, and I hope that testing services like yours, which can be done quickly, accurately, and at the individual's own discretion, will become far more common.
Also, as I mentioned earlier, I would like to request prenatal diagnosis from a trustworthy testing institution, and if it could be done at the same time, I believe there would be all the more demand.
I was glad to learn from your notice that you have lowered the testing fee. I would like to add, as one user's impression, that I hope this becomes a more accessible test that gives peace of mind to couples like us who are undergoing infertility treatment.

I will continue to use your services.
Thank you very much this time.

Thank you for your inquiry.

Please allow us to answer your questions.

What we examined this time was solely the sequence information needed to prove parentage,
which we detected in order to carry out the test.

From the information obtained this time alone, the presence or absence of a chromosomal abnormality cannot be determined.

Also, regarding the request we received from you,
we consider it one of our goals going forward.
We are very grateful for your valuable feedback.

Thank you very much for using our testing service on this occasion.

If this test was of even a little help to you, all of us here would be delighted.
We wish you continued good health and happiness.

Thank you very much.
