An email received on December 3, 2021 from a customer in Osaka Prefecture who used our Parent-Child DNA Test.

Thank you for letting me know that the test has been completed. I would like to ask a question.

This time, the test was done using the umbilical cord.
The instructions stated that at least three centimeters of umbilical cord was required, but the sample that was returned to me had no significant damage.
Was the test definitely performed with this sample?

I am very sorry to trouble you, but I look forward to your reply.

Regarding your inquiry, an umbilical cord can generally yield a sufficient amount of DNA with less than 1 millimeter, but since it depends on the condition of the sample, there are cases where more than 1 cm is used.

Please rest assured that this result was definitely obtained from the sample you submitted.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us. Thank you very much.
