An email from a customer who used our prenatal DNA testing service.
On October 23, 2020, we received the following email from a customer in Chiba Prefecture.
Thank you for your report this time.
We received an assessment result of 99.99%,
but is it really safe to trust this result completely?
On another site, I saw a post saying that a baby resembled the person who had a 0% result, which made me anxious.
Is it truly safe to believe it?
◆◆◆Our reply◆◆◆
Regarding your inquiry,
since the probability of paternity of 99.99% or higher was obtained,
the result confirms that a parent-child relationship is recognized
between the submitted specimens.
In addition, among the customers who have used our prenatal DNA testing service,
we have never received any report of a discrepancy in the test results
or of a result being overturned by a re-test after birth, so please rest assured.
Thank you very much.
