This is an email from a customer who used our DNA parentage test.

On October 19, 2020, we received an email with the following content from a customer in Chiba Prefecture.

What is the difference between these?

When we had our child's blood type tested, it turned out to be a blood type that shouldn't be possible,
differing from my husband's blood type,
so we ended up looking into it.
When my husband had his blood tested, it turned out that his blood type
was different from what his parents had told him,
so it was resolved without issue, but to set our minds at ease
we decided to also check the DNA.

Being able to prove it in a document, and knowing that this puts
my husband at ease, I think it was worth doing!

Regarding your inquiry, this difference arises purely from the differences in the STR data (the numbers in the table) inherited by the father and the child.

Please rest assured that once the value exceeds 99.9%, it is regarded by international standards as being unable to overturn the biological relationship.
