Do you believe in fortune-telling?
I'm the type who believes in it fairly readily, and I find myself checking the horoscope segment on morning TV shows without fail.
Somehow it always feels like my star sign ends up near the bottom of the rankings, and I often head out the door feeling a little disappointed.
When your ranking is low, they introduce a lucky item to help boost your fortune, and one day they declared with great conviction, "Today's lucky item is geta sandals!"
I paused for a moment to consider what to do, but I didn't have the courage to wear geta with my suit and head out.
People tend to get swayed by things and information they cannot see with their own eyes.
You can't see DNA with the naked eye either, right?
Even when a client actually requests testing from us, what we ultimately report is the result of analyzing something invisible to the naked eye.
Of course, we conduct accurate testing, and we have never once made an erroneous determination in the past, but it is also true that some people may feel it lacks a sense of tangibility.
So then, what is the most important thing when providing something invisible?
I believe it is the trust between the party receiving the information and the party providing it.
We at seeDNA have many strengths, including researchers with abundant experience and knowledge, and a support system that carefully takes our clients' feelings into account so they never feel inconvenienced. All of this is the result of our continued efforts to build a relationship of trust with our clients so that they can entrust their testing to us with peace of mind. That's why you can rest assured and leave your testing to us.
Perhaps the fortune-telling on TV is something we end up believing precisely because we like the show (that is, because we trust it).
