Excerpt from the article
seeDNA Inc. (Headquarters/Laboratory: Tokyo; President and CEO: Fukane Norikane) has launched a free sign language support service for prenatal fetal DNA testing.
seeDNA's corporate philosophy is "to bring peace of mind to everyone struggling with questions of parent-child blood relationships." Until now, we have offered online consultations in foreign languages (English, Chinese, Korean, and Czech) as well as via chat, but this made it difficult for those with speech or hearing difficulties to consult with us.
To allow those with speech or hearing difficulties to consult with us on their own, we signed a confidentiality agreement with the "Tokyo Sign Language Interpreter Dispatch Center of the Tokyo Social Welfare Corporation for the Deaf," a specialized sign language interpretation organization, and launched a support service that allows anyone who needs a sign language interpreter to easily undergo testing.
