Our Testing Was Used on Fuji TV's "Ladies Ariyoshi"
On the program "Ladies Ariyoshi," broadcast on Fuji TV on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, our services were used and a portion of our testing services (identity testing) was introduced.
(The segment was titled "It seems more women are using DNA profiling to investigate infidelity.")
Additional Notes and Corrections Regarding the Content Broadcast on Ladies Ariyoshi
(1) To be precise, please note that "mixed DNA from multiple individuals was detected" does NOT mean "infidelity confirmed."
*In the test requested for this segment, comparison samples were submitted from both the man and the woman, and because DNA profiles were obtained from both parties, this determination was possible.
If multiple individuals' DNA profiles are detected from a sample such as underwear, and part of that DNA profile does not match either party's comparison sample profile, this strongly suggests the possibility of infidelity.
(2) Regarding the testing fee, the program stated "45,000 yen per pair of underwear, for a total of 475,000 yen, *including toothbrush testing and report preparation fees," but this is the estimated amount when DNA is successfully extracted from all samples.
At our company, if no DNA is detected from a sample submitted by a customer, we apply a partial refund of the testing fee depending on the details of the request. As a result, the fee actually charged in this case was approximately 370,000 yen.
